I was fortunate enough to attend the World Drift Series matches in China this year. I had a great time and the events went well. The race went especially well at the HangZhou event. Over the period of 3 days we had 60,000 people attend the event. 10k on Friday 20k on Saturday and 30K on Sunday according to ticket sales. The event was so large we even had scalpers outside the venue trying to sell tickets. Legit tickets or not it was quite funny because I have never seen such a thing for a drift event. To boot there was even gambling involved. Apparently Chinese people like to gamble and people actually gambled on drifting! Amazing I know. Both events ended up on National Television. Beijing was taped but HangZhou was live all three days! Can you imagine watching live drift events here in the states?
Within these four pages you will find sort of a photo journal. You will get to see what World Drift Series is about through my lens. Just ignore the really cheesy captions ;D

Lance tearing it up literally. Cone fodder AE86.
The best Chinese car driven by the best Chinese drifter
This is a close up on his hood. This car is awesome but it has its fair share of Engrish. This must be a Chinese "Over Drift" saying.
